Scrapdango is having a Design Team call which ends at midnight tonight. I've been considering applying for the DT for awhile now and when the opportunity arose I was super excited. Only problem was that most of the application time was while I was gone on my vacation! And my brother Bill is still here visiting so I didn't want to neglect him while I was scrapping away. KWIM??? ;) So I took advantage of my days alone at Michele's house and got everything together in a document where I could grab it when I got home. And I even created a two-page sketch on the computer! I was quite proud of myself on that one! The last thing I had to do was create a LO from a provided sketch. Boy did I struggle with that for some reason! I tried four different pictures and three different sets of papers before I just gave up and said "I'll wait until next time." Then yesterday afternoon I got an idea while Bill and I were sipping our Starbucks coffee and chatting. When we got home I excused myself and went into my scrappy room. I turned on the Pandora.com radio and 1 1/2 hours later I had a beautiful spring-themed layout! WOOHOO!!! After everyone went to bed last night I went over all my items to be submitted and answers to the questionnaire and sent it in! So now the anxious nail biting waiting begins.... They didn't say exactly when they would decide but they said it wouldn't be long after the deadline at midnight tonight so maybe I'll have some fingers left when the decision's announced. Even if I don't make it, at least I tried and I did my very best. That's more than I've done before and every forward step is a good one so time will tell!
