What a MONTH!
With three trips out of town, the Tango with Scrapdango crop and the My Sketch World Holiday Rewind Crop I've been super, super busy!
Good news is that I actually WON the Tango with Scrapdango grand prize! YAYAYAYAY!!! And I completed 36 layout pages so far this month!!!!!!!! WOWSERS!!!
Next month is also full of fun times. My Sketch World is hosting a 20 Sketches challenge with all new sketches by my beloved friend Lucy Chesna. Scrapdango is hosting another of their famous Crowned challenges. And there's a super special surprise that I've held secret since before Christmas that will be revealed on the first!!! I can hardly WAIT!!! SOOOOOO exciting!
Meanwhile, I've reconnected with several friends and family members on Facebook. Gotta LOVE it! And I've discovered a couple of other fun sites to play on. Ch{all}enge Masters, Simply Scrapping and In A Scrap Creations. I'll get links posted on my sidebar soon.
My plan is to connect with my dear friend Cheryl and have her help me recreate this blog very soon. I want to do a total makeover! :) So be on the lookout for some new things here!
In the meantime, hope you are all warm, safe and dry! Our weather has finally returned to the lovely South Florida weather that brings everyone here this time of year. We are looking forward to the ProBowl this weekend and Super Bowl next weekend! GEAUX SAINTS! :)

More Scrappy Goodness!
Yesterday was MSW's mid-month sketch reveal. But I was at a crop all day until midnite so I couldn't post. The sponsor this month is The Creative Cafe which creates and sells digital stamps. I'd never heard of these before but what FUN they were! I pulled out my old pens and some Crystal Lacquer and some Stickles and had a great time! Here's my LO using pictures from my daughter Michele's 29th birthday last month, Lucy's awesome sketch and The Creative Cafe's digital stamps...
I'm doing a couple of different things at once these days. at www.scrapdango.net/forums you can find some AWESOME challenges for their Scrapdango Tango dance-themed crop! Lots of fun games and great prizes! Contest ends on Friday, January 22nd at Midnight. And at http://mysketchworld.s2.bizhat.com/index.php?mforum=mysketchworld you can find the Holiday Rewind Crop. This contest goes all month and there's more AWESOME challenges and prizes there! I've also discovered Ch{all}enge Masters at http://challengemasters.ning.com/. WOW what TALENT is there!!! All this has been keeping me busy and kept me from missing my family so much now that we're back home... :) So here's what I've created since the last post...
Nicole on MSW has a challenge for the Holiday Rewind Crop to use a part of The Night Before Christmas poem on one of your layouts. I instantly knew this picture would be the one I'd use! Don't you LOVE that Santa???!!!
This one is for several challenges - Scarlett's "Make a Scene" on MSW, Scrapdango's Blog Use Your Stash challenge and Twisted Sketches' sketch challenge. The pictures say it all!
I LOVE Lucy's sketches! I did this one for the MSW Holiday Rewind Crop;s "Presents Under the Tree" challenge.
Remember that old ribbon candy from the 50s and 60s? Well, I do! ;) I haven't seen it in YEARS so when I found it at the Fresh Market before Christmas I HAD to buy it for my Mom. Noah went NUTS over it so I think it's gonna be a continuing family tradition! :) I did this for Alecia's MSW Holiday Rewind Crop "Christmas Table" challenge.
I just LOVE this picture of Noah! Gotta love that cheesy grin of his when he poses! I've had this kit for YEARS and finally decided to DO something with it! This one's just because I loved the picture and wanted to use the papers. :)
Scrapdango's Tango Crop "Let's Get Musical" challenge to use musical notes on your LO was perfect for this one. When he's in town my stepson Mike and I have fun rearranging the letters of these Noel angels.
This one's for the "Let's Salsa" Challenge on Scrapdango to use red, orange and black. PERFECT for this pic of Noah which is one of my all time faves. :)
Here's one I did with Scrapdango's November Spice Kit. I also CASEd (Copy And Scrap Everything) Heather's example of the November sketch. It also works for Heather's "Dancing with the Stars" challenge for the Scrapdango Tango Crop.

Christmas 2009 and a TOOT!
I can't believe it's the 11th of January 2010 already! This month is slipping away fast so I decided I'd better update things quickly! Our trip to Virginia was totally AWESOME! We got to meet Michele's new boyfriend Brett. What a NICE guy! Even Steve liked him (which is a FIRST)! And we also got to meet my future sister-in-law Maria and her twins, Donish and Xena. What joys they are!!! My brother Bill is quite lucky to have finally found Miss Right at the ripe old age of 53! So many things happened and I took over 300 pictures! So rather than sharing it all I did a slideshow in review of our trip just touching on some highlights.
But before the slideshow, I have a TOOT!!! Lucy at My Sketch World has asked me to remain on the Layout Design Team for another 6 month term!!!! I'm SUPER, SUPER excited!!! She's added some new members to the DT as well including one of my dear friends, Bev Code. I am SOOOOO excited and can't wait to see what the next 6 months bring! Holiday Rewind Crop at MSW!
Wanna get those Christmas pictures done right away? Well here's your chance!!! One of my resolutions is to scrap 2010's pictures IN 2010!!! I'm notorious for putting things off. And this is a great way to start! Happy 2010 Everyone!!!
I hope that this new year and this decade are the most prosperous, blessed and healthy EVER for ALL of you!
We spent the holidays in Virginia with my family in Virginia. It was quite a trip! We met my brothers fiancee Maria and her twins, Donish and Xena. And we met Michele's boyfriend, Brett. We loved them ALL!!! :) And we had lots of fun with Noah too. It was GREAT seeing my parents and my brothers as well. But now it's back to Florida and a winter chill! Our house was 60 degrees when we returned this morning! YIKES! Thank God we're not up north tho where it's even COLDER! :)
I have about 300 pictures to weed through and scrap. And I have a BUNCH of challenges to complete too! I'm hosting a challenge about Christmas lights on My Sketch World this month. And I also have Lucy's January 15 Sketch to share. Plus there's some other exciting news that I can't reveal just yet...
Meanwhile, I just wanted to pop in and say Happy New Year to everyone! I'm looking forward to lots more fun and greatness this year!!!
