Kreaxions Punches Are So Very Versatile!
One of the things I love the most about the Kreaxions 4-in-1 punches is that you can use them for any style of layout or card! You can jazz them up, play them down, whatever fits your mood or subject or style. They’re SO versatile!!! Today I’m going to share two layouts with you. One is very simple with just a corner punch. The other is very fancy yet the techniques to create it were very simple!
The first layout is of my husband and two of my grandsons at the beach last month. I love the looks on all their faces in this picture! I wanted to keep this layout simple because it’s just the guys having fun in the water. So I simply punched the corners with Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #915 using Template C. I used the cutaway part to enhance the stamped title.
The second layout is my new sister-in-law walking down the aisle with her daughter as her Maid of Honor and her son escorting her. The sketch is by Alyssa McGrew for Your Scrapbook Stash. I cut the oval on my Cricut and then used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #905 Template A to jazz up the oval. The corners of the layout needed some pizzazz so I changed to Template B and punched the corners. I didn’t want to just leave a square on there so I cut off the corners and used the first one as a template to create the other 3 so they’d be uniform.
I hope this shows you just how many different looks you can get with these punches! And I hope they’ll encourage you to try your hand at creating jazzy and simple projects! Happy Punching!

MSW Reveals
So in my Design Team submission I had to include at least one layout that I hadn't revealed before. I decided to do two layouts. I could hardly WAIT to reveal them! You'll understand why when you see them...
First is a two page layout using Lucy's sketch from her “3 Photo Sketches”. Here's the link - https://picasaweb.google.com/110553147249532042079/3PhotoSketches#5509152103863536274. I had great fun with these pics and this sketch! The small circles are cut with Cricut. I punched the big circle with Kreaxions Punch #923 with Insert A. I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to cut the large circle. I drew all the “stitching”
Materials – Papers, Border Sticker – Basic Grey; Buttons – Bo Bunny; Hearts – Making Memories; Brads – American Crafts; Title Letters – Colorbok; Sticker Numbers – My Little Shoebox; Pens – Uniball Signo, Marvy Uchida.
The second layout is a two-pager. Normally I like to merge the two pages together so you see them side-by-side. But for this one I want you to see all the little details in the faces in the pics... This is for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding album... This sketch can be found at https://picasaweb.google.com/110553147249532042079/2PageSketches#5509149744787919666.

The journaling reads "When the limo driver didn’t show up, everything got chaotic. Maria had to drive herself along with her mother, Xena, Donish and their roommate. Upon arrival at the altar the officiant asked for the license. Suddenly Maria gasped and said “Oh my God! I forgot the license!” Bill’s response was “Say WHAT?!” And the officiant was reluctant to continue with the ceremony. After a few minutes of conversation the officiant agreed to let us bring the license back in the next day for her to sign. We were both quite relieved! A few minutes later the ceremony began and we were married! But it wouldn’t be official until the license got signed."
Thankfully they are happily (and legally) married since the day after the wedding... :)
I am SUPER excited about returning to My Sketch World on the Design Team and I'm even MORE excited about hosting the One Hour Sketch Challenges! The first one will be in September so look for the announcements here, on Facebook and in the My Sketch World forum!

I'm SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!
Not only did I make the My Sketch World Design Team once more, but this term I've been asked to host all of the One Hour Sketch Challenges!!!! Watch out scrappers and cardmakers! You CAN Punch Cardstock!!!
After over 35 years of secretarial work my wrists can get quite weak when punching. And I don’t know about the rest of you but sometimes I just want to use good old cardstock with my punches. But most of the time the cardstock is so thick that it’s difficult to punch through. Well, today I want to tell you about my second favorite Kreaxions tool. It’s called the Punch Mate! As you will see with the layout example below, I was able to punch through Bazzill cardstock with ease! I never lost strength in my wrists and I never lost the little details that the Kreaxions 4-in-1 punches are so famous for! I’m attaching pictures here to show you how easy it is to use this fabulous tool!
First, let me share my example with you. This two-page layout uses only ONE 4-in-1 Kreaxions Punch 909 - Polar Sun. I used lots of the negative pieces as embellishments as well. All of the cardstock that I punched through was Bazzill or equivalent thickness. I used the Jasmine font on my Cricut to cut the title and the wavy border was cut with my wavy Creative Memories cutter. The circles were cut using the amazing Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
To use the Punch Mate, simply lift the handle, line up your punch with the icons on the base of the Punch Mate.
Once you lift the handle you’ll see two icons. This is where you place the punch. Larger punches go on the larger circle, smaller punches go on the smaller circle.
Place your paper into the punch and pull the handle back down so that the roller lays on top of your punch and press down firmly.
When you’re using thicker papers, it sounds like you’re going to break something. Have no fear! Once you feel it go through, lift the handle and pull your punch and paper out. Voila! You’re done!
The borders for this layout were created with Kreaxions Punch #909 with Insert A. I simply punched using the Punch Mate and then lined the next punch up against the end of the first punch.
Here's how I lined up my punch to create the borders.
The corners were punched with Insert C. I cut a 1x12” strip, cut the first corner, cut at 1” and repeated as many times as I needed to for the number of corners I needed. I used the negatives from the border punches to fill in the holes on the corners.
Once I had all of my elements attached, I added a dot of Crystal Stickles to each center.
