Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team Reveal - Happy Thanksgiving Card

Hello there!  Ginni here!  The American Thanksgiving is only a couple of days away!  So I made a Thanksgiving card with Kreaxions Punch #920 and lots of scraps.




First I stamped my image on a piece of light colored cardstock.  Then I used my Kreaxions Circle Cutter to cut a circle around it big enough to create the doily.  Then I used Stencil B to draw the lines (only the longest ones) on the BACK side of my circle.  Using the 6.8 cm small Kreaxions Positioning Parts I punched on each line which gave the design.  I snipped the little bit that was still attached and that created the doily.  I also used the same punch with Template B to punch the four corners which I then cut out with my trimmer.  And I added some of the little cut-away pieces all over the card to enhance it.  (I always have a hard time throwing those fabulous little pieces away!  LOL!)

Once I had the card put together, I used my pens to color the stamped image and to outline the elements on the card. And of course I had to add my signature bling!  On the inside I stamped the sentiment and matted it.  I used more cut-away pieces (both of my papers were double sided) and put those on the corners of my sentiment.

This card was fun, easy and quick to make.  The best part of this design is that you could use any theme, any papers, any stamps!   I hope it inspires you to create your own special cards!

Handmade Flowers from Scraps!

Here's a quick and easy way to make flowers from your scraps!  I used Kreaxions Stencil B and the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, scissors and a brad plus a pen and some Stickles to create these flowers...

First I used the Stencil to draw my lines.  I stopped drawing at the edge of the inner circle so I'd know how big I wanted the flowers to be...

   This is a close-up of the cut out circle behind the stencil.  You can see where the edge of the circle on the stencil is and that's where I drew my lines to.

It's Holiday Crafting Time!!!

Hello!  Welcome to my blog!  The holiday season is a VERY busy time for all of us and there will be lots going on.  I'm sure you'll have projects and gifts and decorations you'd like to make so I invite you to check back here often the next few weeks! Today I'm starting off the holiday season with a challenge for the Turtle Soup Forum's November Mini Crop.  It was December 1975 I was skinny, young and single. My roommate was pretty crazy and so when we passed Santa while out Christmas shopping she looked at me and said “Want to?”  I said “Sure!”  I think Santa enjoyed that night LOL! 

I used Kreaxions Punch #312 (Snowflake) with no template to create my top and bottom borders.  The top piece is the cut-away piece of the bottom one.  I cut the front of the photo card off and took the picture out of the frame.

The Turtle Soup Forum is having a 12 Days of Christmas from December 1 to December 12.  This is a fabulous group and the Design Team is EXTREMELY creative!  You won't want to miss these!  All of the challenges are designed to be easy and quick too! Kreaxions Punch Reveal - I Love You Always

Hello!  Ginni here today with pics of my brother and new sister-in-law who came down to our town in South Florida to have a beach wedding.  We had SO much FUN!  And the weather was perfect until just before we were ready to clean up and leave...  Then the skies opened up with a typical Florida thunderstorm that lasted only about 20 minutes.  These pictures were taken just before the storm. (You can see the clouds in the background!) They're holding the sign I made them for their wedding using my Cricut.  I created the borders with Kreaxions Punch #310.  I used Template A on the sides and no template on the bottom. For the doily I used the same punch, Kreaxions Circle Cutter, Kreaxions Stencil B and the small 5.6 cm Kreaxions Positioning Parts.  Then I colored in the punched images and added some Stickles all around the page.  I also used some of the cut-away strips from the paper for my top border and strip on the left side.

I'm sorry I didn't post this yesterday.  It's been a tough time for my family again...  With a 92 year old father in a nursing home things can get crazy quickly.  About 2 weeks ago my Dad's aide noticed his leg was cold.  The nurse checked it a few minutes later and between the two of them and an awesome Cardiovascular Surgeon, they saved his leg and toes with emergency surgery in the middle of the night!  He'd thrown a clot into his leg from his heart and they had to open the main leg artery to get it cleaned out!  Of course, with it being so serious and him being in such poor health I flew up the next day and things didn't look good.  He was on a respirator, they were asking about what kind of life-saving things we wanted them to do and they told us they may not be able to save his toes but they though they'd saved his leg.  Well, 4 days later he was released to the nursing home and doing better than he was before he went into the hospital!!!  God had truly done a miracle!  So I came home once more and am still trying to get my mind and body back in gear again.

I used a Lucy Chesna sketch to create this page about my grandson Robert.  I used some Best Creations papers, the KreaxionsCircle Cutter, Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #312 (the stars) and Kreaxions  4-in-1 Punch #914 (the holly) on a scallop border created with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to create this page.  Then I  punched out green stars and cream colored stars and put them around my page.  I added a pre-made border, a few stickers and some Stickles and it was done!
