Great-Grandma & Me

This is a picture of my Grandson Noah and my Mom in 2004. I had great fun playing with Kreaxions Punch #311  and the FABULOUS Kreaxions Circle Cutter on this page!

Materials – Cardstock – Bazzill; Patterned Paper - My Mind's Eye; Heart Die Cuts – Unknown; 3-D Stickers – K & Co.; Brads, Flowers – Prima; Bling – Queen & Co.; Ink – EK Success Pens
Here's how I created this page:
  Using Stencil A I drew the lines...
  ...and cut the circle with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter.
  My lines weren't long enough to see them past the punch so I used a ruler and lengthened them ...
  Use the little notches on the front of the punch and the drawn lines to line up your punch.
  This is how the punched circle looks after punching all around.
  The corners were punched with Template B ...
   ...and then on either side of the corners with Template A...
   ... and I also punched the border at the bottom using Template A.
  Finally I used Stencil B to cut and punch a separate circle which I matted on the pink cardstock. This created my doily.  Sometimes there's some extra paper between the punched pieces so just use your scissors to cut it away if you want.  Or you could leave the pieces together - whichever you prefer.

And now for MY piece of the puzzle for you - 

And my Spring project reveal is an Easter Card.

I used the cut-aways from the border of another card for my top and bottom borders on this very spring-y Easter card. The Kreaxions Circle Cutter gave me the perfect circle base, then I stamped the image and colored it and used my Fiskars Rotary Trimmer with Scalloped edge to create the edges. My center border was created with Kreaxions Punch #311 with no template. I outlined everything with a pen like I would with ink.

Just Imagine/Kreaxions DT Blog Hop!!!

Here's my card that I created for this blog hop.  This month I'm featuring Kreaxions Punch #311 and I used it with no template for my border.  

I used a sketch by Bev Code, some Close to My Heart stamps and lots of scraps on this card.  I outlined everything with a silver pen to make it show up a bit better and I popped the sentiment.

Other materials – Sketch – Bev Code; Card Base – Recollections; Stamps, Ink – CTMH; Pen – Sakura Gel Roll; Bling – Queen and Co.

And here's another card I created using Kreaxions Punch #311...

I used the Kreaxions Oval Stencil to create the oval then I punched around the edges of the oval but only at the top and bottom using Kreaxions Punch #311 with no template.  Then I used Template A and punched the border in the middle.  Then I put this paper over top of the patterned paper which I’d stamped with the image and colored.  I used some of the cut-aways on the corners, outlined everything with a pen and added some bling. 

Other materials – Card Base – Recollections; All the papers are from scraps; Stamps – Stampin Up; Ink – Staz-On; Pens – EK Success, CTMH, Sakura Gel Roll; Bling – Queen and Co.

I used various versions of the following for the insides of these cards.  The edges were created with the Fiskars Rotary Trimmer with the scallop blade.

My Favorite Food

This month I am focusing on one of my favorite Kreaxions Punches - Punch #311.  I love the design it leaves, love the pieces it punches out and love how versatile it is!  My first project this month is a layout of my Grandson Robert a couple of years ago.  His Mom made him this giant sandwich wrap and he asked his Dad “Can I eat the whole thing?”  Dad’s response was “You can TRY!”  LOL!

I used Kreaxions Punch #311 with no inserts to create the border at the right which I threaded my ribbon through. I used Mini Glue Dots to hold the ribbon pleats in place.  Here's some close-ups of how I pleated the ribbon...







I used all the cut-away pieces for my embellishments.

The 8” circle was cut with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and the corner at the top left is the cut-away piece from the paper I cut the circle from.

This is my oldest stepson and his wife before they got married and adopted Robert.  I used Bev Code’s sketch, the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and some Art Warehouse stamps to create this page. The Kreaxions Circle Cutter makes any type of circle SUPER EASY and works from 1/2" to 10" and every size in between!!!  It's one of my all time favorite tools!  For the large flowers at the bottom, I stamped them twice in each color, then cut one out and put it over top of the other one with pop dots.
