I just took this picture of some blooms on our mango tree. Each one of those little buds is a baby mango!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the buds will blow off in the strong winds we are having. Some will grow to different sizes and fall off. But a lot of them will turn into the most delicious, sweetest, juciest mangoes you've ever tasted! It will be a few months yet, but I can hardly wait! We might have to put an electric rope around the tree this year! People just think they can stop by and help themselves. Our little rope fence helped a bit last year, but we still caught some mango thieves and missed a few. But honestly, once you've tasted them I can't really blame them. Hehe! But as my poor dear husband said to one lady as she stopped her SUV and started to reach for one, "But they're MY mangoes!!!" Gotta love it!
