Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas!

It's nearly 10 PM on Christmas Eve. It's been breezy and rainy today but still warm enough to leave the windows open. I love this time of year here! But I feel sorry for those poor people who are stuck in airports or in snow-bound places this year. Not sorry enough to leave south Florida though! The only thing I miss is the possibility of a white Christmas. However, in Virginia we normally didn't have them anyway.
Unfortunately, this year Steve and I are alone tonight and tomorrow. So sad. :( We came within inches of buying tickets to Virginia this afternoon. But I'll probably be going up next month for a week or so to help my daughter out. So I told him no. Instead, I gave him a bottle of nice scotch so he'll sleep and I can scrap tonight! Hehe! I'd MUCH rather have my kids and grandkids here though.
However, this weekend we're going to get together with Steve's sons and granddaughter and have a late Christmas. The oldest and youngest are visiting from Alaska so we have to make an effort to get together. We spent the afternoon shopping at the local mall the other day buying all kinds of pink girly-girl things for Molly. She's gonna love it! And I can't wait to pull out my wonderful digi camera and just start snapping away!
And speaking of cameras, I can't wait to see the pictures my grandson Noah and Molly will be taking! I bought both of them a camera for Christmas! Noah's is a Speed Racer one and Molly's is pink (what ELSE would it be?)! They were only $20 and are small so the kids should have lots of fun with them. And they both wanted one! Gotta love it!
So, I hope Santa's good to you and I hope the weather cooperates too. But most of all I hope you remember the wonderful reason why we really celebrate Christmas in the first place. Jesus came as a baby, grew up to be a man and sacrificed Himself on the cross for EVERYONE! You can read all about him in the New Testament of the Bible. It's actually quite an interesting story! And a true one too. :) God bless you and all your friends and families!
Love, Ginni
