I spent Saturday playing on the computer doing a blog hop. Scrapbook News and Review was hosting one with over 90 participants! It took me most of Saturday afternoon and all of Sunday to do it, but I actually visited every one of the listed blogs! WOW there's some awesome eye candy out there! :) It just amazes me how much the Internet has grown in such a short lifespan!
Saturday night we went to Teri and Jim's condo in Deerfield Beach to watch the fireworks. Their balcony faces the beach and we were able to just stay on the 7th floor balcony and enjoy the display with no sand, no bugs, no crowd and a/c blowing at us from inside! :) I didn't set up my tripod because there wasn't anywhere to put it so I just played with the camera. I actually got a couple of great shots! Here they are:

And I actually got a couple of pages scrapped on Friday and Saturday! Scrapdango is having a contest this month called Sketchapalooza. Each week several sketches are posted and the participants are eligible to win a prize for the week and then a big prize at the end of the month. It was a new experience for me being on the DT to create a sketch for someone to use! Anyway, this one is mine using Julie's 4 picture sketch of my brother Bill and I in 1957 on Christmas morning.

and this one is using Kerryn's one picture sketch

Sunday I wasn't feeling too well so I stayed on the couch most of the day. I've been dieting and went totally off the diet Sat nite at the party. I can really tell the difference! So I'm back on the diet again! ;) Lost 12 pounds so far so it seems to be working! YAY! LOTS more to go tho...
Well, I've kept you long enough. Have a wonderful week! Happy Scrapping!
