Happy 4th of July!

This little guy reminds me of my grandson Noah. :) Isn't he adorable?!
This is probably my second fav holiday (after Christmas) because I absolutely LOVE fireworks! I am always amazed at how beautiful they can make the displays and colors! And when they came out with the white sparkly ones I was in total love! But my all time favs are the blues! And I think it's sooooo funny when everyone goes "ooooh" and "aaaaahhh" all at the same time! It always makes me giggle!
But most of all this day reminds me just how blessed I am to live in this country. I might not agree with all the political stuff that goes on and I certainly don't like what seems to be happening with my country right now. But the good ol' United States of America is still the most absolutely best place to live in the world! (Canada runs a very close second.) We can say what we want without worry of reprisals or imprisonment or death. We can go where we want freely. We can own whatever we can find a way to purchase. And we can live our lives whatever way we want to. I thank God for all the men and women who have sacrificed and are still sacrificing for that freedom! I pray for the safety of our soldiers and their families left at home as well. Thank you seems so insignificant but it's what we have in our language to say.
So on this happy day, go out and have FUN! Enjoy the food even if you're on a diet. (One day won't kill you!) And enjoy your families and friends! Most of all enjoy the fireworks! And take lots and lots of pictures to share with me later. Have a wonderful 4th of July! Also, if you are a scrapbooker or a stamper or a cardmaker or all of the above, then you'll want to join me in this AWESOME blog hop that Scrapbook News and Review is hosting this weekend! Here's the information:

(And read the next post as well because Baxter went into the boat for the first time today!) God bless the USA! (And Canada too!)
