A Big Surprise!

A couple of months ago I was reading my Scrapbooks, Etc. magazine when I came across a little blurb talking about a company (www.canvascorp.com) that has developed a kit for designing a floorplan. The kit included all kinds of neat things and, according to SB Etc., they had an office floorplan kit that would be good for designing a scrap room. And it was only $15!!! My interest was piqued and so I decided to check it out. I had a question and ended up emailing the company. Their response was very quick and eventually a lady named Tammy called me. We had quite a nice conversation and a few weeks later I received my "Room Spacing Kit - Office/Studio" in the mail. WOW!!! I was totally impressed, but still haven't had time to do much more than peek at the contents and read a bit of the literature that came with it.

A few days later Tammy emailed me and asked if I'd received my kit. It's a new line for them and they're anxious for feedback. Long story short, after a couple of emails and calls in this two or three month period, I mentioned that I am an avid scrapbooker. I told her that I'd ordered the kit to plan my dream scrap room for when we move to Alaska. (See my blog at www.ginnig.blogspot.com for explanations.) Since Steve hadn't made up his mind on the design and floorplan of the house and lodge, I had no idea what size anything was going to be. So I couldn't plan yet. Tammy then replied "Have you ever heard of the Mark Richards line of products?" I told her that I hadn't and she asked if I'd be interested in seeing some of it. She explained that it was a lot of "bling" and I said "That's for me!" So she told me she'd send me some.

Imagine my shock and awe when a package arrived today in the mail with all this product in it!!! There's 24 pieces here!!! And it's all kinds of themes - beach, birthday, baby, winter, hearts, stars, rhinestones, pearls, stickers, 3-D stickers and more! WOW!!! And there was all kinds of information on how to order more which I'll be sure to share with my fav scrappy stores!!! This totally made my day!

So between all the prizes I won in the www.123-scrap.com 4th Birthday Cyber Crop and the Mark Richards products, I should be set for quite awhile! Thanks Tammy and thanks Canvas Corp.!!!!

And to share the wealth, anyone who posts to this blog between now and Sunday, April 13, will have their name entered into a drawing for some of my goodies!

Very cool loot! I hadn't recognized the name, but I recognize the packaging, how sad is that? Enjoy your stuff! :-) And now I'm wondering why I don't have you in my Google Reader? Well, I do now! :-D

That is so cool, Ginni! That's a company that I wouldn't mind doing business with considering the kind of customer service they've shown you. Congratulations on the haul!

I don't have you in my reader either, but consider yourself being stalked. I have never heard of him either.
