It's 2014 Already?!

I don't have to ask where the last two years went because I know.  :(  My Dad is doing well in the nursing home but my Mom unfortunately passed away October 14.  I miss her SO much!  I spent the last 3 weeks with her every single night because she didn't want to be alone.  My brothers and future sister-in-law took the day shift hours.  It was a hard, hard time for us but when Mom passed she was surrounded by family singing to her.  It was very peaceful and sweet. 

So now it's 2014 and I can't believe it!  Didn't Back to the Future predict that by now we'd have flying skateboards and self closing tennis shoes?!  LOL!  I know that back int he 1950s and 1960s we certainly thought that we'd be there by now!  Remember The Jetsons cartoons?!  LOL!  I LOVED those flying cars and the robot maid!!!  :)  Unfortunately we haven't made it there yet.  :)  Maybe someday! 

As I've been reading the forums and catching up online, I've been seeing everyone taking stock of how many projects they completed in the past year and some were even picking their 10 favorite layouts of the year.  I hope I can narrow mine down to just 10 or maybe 15 favorites!  I was amazed that I managed to scrap much at all this year with all the traveling and illness that I've suffered from the stress and everything else going on.  But I DID it!  I even made albums for my two brothers for Christmas that Mom had started many years ago! 

So here are my 2013 totals - 183 layouts, 83 cards and 6 other projects.  My favorites are below:

As you can see, I use my Kreaxions punches and Kreaxions Circle Cutter a LOT!  And I like to fussy-cut too.  :)  I hope you've enjoyed looking at my favorite projects of the year!  Happy Scrapping and Happy Punching!  And may your 2014 be very blessed and prosperous!!!
