I FINALLY SCRAPPED!!!

Well, today is January 17 and until last night (really VERY early this morning) I hadn't scrapped at ALL this year!  That just doesn't happen to me unless I'm out of town or sick...  Well, we were out of town until the 2nd and I came home VERY sick!  Thankfully, the crud is starting to leave and I'm caught up with the end of the year 2013 stuff that had to be done.  And so last night instead of sleeping I scrapped...  I did three whole pages!  :)  So of course I just HAD to share!  LOL!  And here they are...

First I did a page about the My Sketch World Houston Crop last summer.  I used a Memorable Seasons challenge to use as many flowers as possible on my page, a Turtle Soup challenge to use chipboard or wood (wooden flowers are in the center of the bottom), a My Scraps & More challenge to use the word "friends" and a My Scraps & More sketch from their sketch blog challenge to create this page ...  I used my Kreaxions Circle Cutter to create the scallop border on the right...

Next is a page from the same crop and is about one of the ladies I met that weekend.  She's pictured here with my dear friend Bev.  I used a challenge from Turtle Soup to create my own layered borders and a challenge from Memorable Seasons to use my markers (I drew her name with the markers)...  I used Kreaxions Punch #306 and Kreaxions Punch #902 to create my border at the bottom.  I punched each one without a template creating a border, then cut them apart.  I used the cut-away from #306 on the bottom.

Finally I used a sketch from Turtle Soup and a challenge from My Scraps & More to use old photos (these are 23 years old!!!) and I created this page about the stairs in Ketchikan, Alaska where I spent the first 5 years of our marriage...  Being built on the side of a mountain, everything goes UP in Ketchikan!  I used Kreaxions Punch #906 with no template and a lot of the cut-away pieces to create the elements on this page...

It felt SO good to get in the groove again!  I had great fun punching and drawing and playing with my papers!  Hope you enjoyed!  Happy Scrapping and Happy Punching!
