My Latest Creations

It's been awhile since I uploaded my projects. There's SOOOOOO many great challenges and online crops out there right now that it's easy to get overwhelmed. :) The two main ones I'm involved in for February are the Scrapdango Crowned challenge and the My Sketch World February Sketch-a-Thon. The Crowned challenge has been tough I might say! There are specific instructions that you have to follow and sometimes a specific theme or set of items. My Week 1 creation is in an earlier post. If you miss one week or your LO doesn't qualify for some reason, you can't be Crowned at the end of the month. Each week there's a new person Crowned and that person wins a prize (usually one of SD's FABULOUS kits). Here is my Week 2 creation. We had to use 5 photos, 4 (and ONLY 4) different fonts in our title, 3 patterned papers, 1 cardstock and only 2 other products of our choosing. So I finally came up with this LO about Steve and Noah and Baxter rough-housing at my parents' house on New Year's Eve.

As an added bonus we had a "Glitz & Glam" challenge. I made this Valentine's Day card for Molly who loves pink and "crystal blue"...

And then there's the My Sketch World February Sketch-a-Thon... Lucy is posting a sketch each day for 20 days. If you like using sketches, Lucy's are the BEST!!! Each one amazes me even more! Every other sketch posted is a card sketch. But we get extra points if we use a layout sketch for a card and vice versa... The person with the most points wins. We have until March 3rd to create from these awesome sketches. So here's my latest creations...

This card was for Suzann's Heart Shaped Card combined with Kate's challenge to use some lyrics of a song she posted. I made this card for Steve for Valentine's Day.


This was for Kristin's Valentine Bingo challenge.

I'll try to post more often now. It's a bit overwhelming to have so many at once. It's just been busy around here!
And... if you're really special you are still reading so I'll post the best news of all! My daughter Michele is pregnant!!! :) This will be her 2nd child and my 3rd grandchild and we couldn't be happier! Sonogram is tomorrow so maybe I'll have a picture to post of our newest family member. :) Due date is late summer or early fall. We'll have more of an idea when tomorrow. :)
