Just a few days before Christmas I got a PM from the Design Team leader, Heather, at Scrapdango. She informed me that Scrapdango would be sponsoring Becky Fleck's PageMaps for February and they needed three extra designers. She wanted to know if I'd be interested in joining the current DT members! Well, of COURSE I said yes! It's BECKY FLECK after all! So Becky sent me a sketch to use and I created a layout with it. I used pictures of my brother, Bill and his fiancee Maria.
Becky's site is so busy the first day or two that you may have to be patient with opening it, but my layout is the fourth one down. Anyway, I'm SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! I've admired Becky's sketches for YEARS and now that she's got two books as well as her flash cards, I'm just honored and awed that I was one of the people chosen! :)
And of course, today is the first day of LOTS of other challenges! My Sketch World has the Sketch-a-Thon which goes until March 3rd. And Scrapdango has the Crowned contest which started today. Then there's MSW's normal challenges. I have a Birthday challenge that I'm hosting this month there. And many, many more out there! So there's no excuse not to be scrapping! There's something for EVERYONE! And you might even win a prize! Like me for example... In January I won the Scrapdango Tango Crop grand prize (a full monthly kit!) and today I just found out that I also won a prize in the MSW Holiday Rewind Crop! WOOHOO!
I will give Becky's site a few days before I share my LO here out of respect to her. But if you do see it over there, let me know what you think!
