Wonderful HOUSTON!!!

What a FUN time I'm having here in Houston with Suzann and her adorable husband Bob!!! Friday was travel time. My plane was 20 minutes early but Suzann was already there waiting for me. :) We had such fun getting to know each other better on Friday night! Her home is LOVELY and I even had a choice of guest rooms! Boy do I feel special! :)
The yesterday we were up bright and early with all our scrappy stuff and out the door we went. Arrived at Archivers before 10 AM and didn't leave till after 11 PM! What an awesome time we had! There were 7 of us from the My Sketch World group - Suzann, Kristin, Alecia, Wendi (who flew from Utah), Alecia's friend Anndie, Audrey and myself. Believe me when I tell you that everyone had an AWESOME time!!! We ate Cheez-Its and mint M&Ms all day. We shopped in the many clearance racks (or should I say we pretty much cleaned them out?) and we scrapped to our hearts' content. We had such fun getting to know each other! And we giggled and laughed and chatted and all agreed that we must do this again soon. :) It was sad having to say goodbye at the end of the night. But we all knew we'd made online friendships into even stronger ones! Man we all wished everyone else on MSW could have been there!
Here's a slideshow of the pictures that were taken with my camera. I also added two more at the end. One is of an immense 15-lane highway here in Houston! Absolutely incredible! And the other is of the newest and largest cruise ship in the world. This cruise ship docked in Fort Lauderdale on Friday morning where it will be based. I took this picture from the airport terminal zoomed in as far as possible. The green things are TREES!!! Some of the people who were on my plane were on another cruise ship at the dock when the big one came in. They said that it was an amazing site!!! Someday maybe Steve and I will have to go see it. :)
I'm looking forward to the rest of my weekend with Suzann and Bob. They took me to a FABULOUS seafood place for lunch today and then we took a tour of Houston. We're both checking boards and games, etc. and then we'll go hide in her awesome scrappy room for awhile. Tomorrow we plan to go to the Bush Presidential Library which should be lots of fun and Tuesday morning I fly home again.
