Misty Fjords Alaska
Misty Fjords is a beautiful, serene fjord near Ketchikan, Alaska. These layouts are of pictures I took on two different plane rides out to Misty. One ride was in the summer (no snow on the mountains). The other ride was with my mother-in-law and her sister who was visiting from Mexico City. We didn't know until we got back to Ketchikan that our seasoned Southeast Alaskan pilot had just managed to fly through a white-out and bring us back home safe and sound! That is NOT something I'd want to repeat for sure! Anyway, enjoy the beautiful scenery and thanks for looking!
Happy Scrapping!

Isn't that gorgeous! It just makes me that much more determined that I am going to visit Alaska someday.
I'm a stay-at-home grandmother with five grandchildren, a daughter, three stepsons, a husband, a dog and a cat. I love Jesus, scrapbooking and the beach. In June of 2016 my husband and I retired and moved from South Florida back to Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska! We're building a small homestead on 3 acres of beachfront property. It's quite a life change, but we are loving the new quiet lifestyle!
On October 14, 2013 my mother died from cancer. She was 84 years old and had been happily married to my Dad for over 65 years! This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them before Daddy fell and broke his hip. He spent almost 4 years in rehab and a nursing home. He died January 30, 2015 from heart disease and dementia complications. I already miss them both VERY much. But I know they're in Heaven together and are happy and healthy again...
In Honor of Zoe
My faithful companion of 14 years died of liver failure on September 18, 2008. She is VERY much missed! I thank God for the privilege of being her companion all those years.
