Home Again - Well, At Least for Now...

Steve asked me this morning if I would come home for a couple of nights and then we could go back together on Saturday morning. I was REALLY tired, but knew it was the right thing to do - hadn't packed to be there any longer! So I drove across Alligator Alley in the rain and returned home. It's really not a bad drive, it's just BORING! No landmarks for about an hour except the mile markers and call boxes. Just the same sea of grass for hundreds of miles to each side! (See picture below.)

My friend, Trish, is doing much better today. She is stronger and her coloring is good. They are waiting for the doctors and insurance to decide what to do with her until God performs the miracle we're all hoping and waiting for. Yesterday I popped into the gift shop and found a stuffed gorilla with a hospital gown on that said "Hang in there and get better!" I told her to hang on to him when she got lonely or scared. She loved him! Her husband did too. I took a couple of pictures, but she wouldn't be very happy if I posted them here and I don't blame her so I won't. Suffice it to say he's cuddly and CUTE!!! (I cropped her out and here's a pic of the Gorilla.)

Tomorrow night is a midnight crop at my fav scrappy store so my BFF and I are going to attend. She's not feeling well and I'm exhausted so we'll see how late we last. Hehe! Wouldn't be at all surprised if they kick us out after everyone else has left! We seem to get motivated and lose all track of time when we're at these things so it will be fun to download and relax.

So for now, it's ta-ta and happy scrapping! Have a great weekend everybody!
