A Layout and A Banner!

I promised I'd share some of my projects with you so here's some I did last week...
I've had my Silhouette Cameo for over a year and with trying to sell the house, then the move, then everything being in storage and not having any internet to watch tutorials with, I haven't used it much.  But the other day I got brave!  There was a sketch challenge on Let's Get Sketchy and it worked well with another challenge on the Facebook group Scrapbook Generation Scrap Squad.  It also worked well with the Creative Inspiration Mini Crop to use sequins and stars...  So here's what I came up with!  I'm really pleased with how it turned out!  It will be the cover page to my Christmas 2016 album...
Then on Saturday morning I found out that our church was having a surprise birthday party for one of our members and they needed a banner.  So I got brave again!  And I created this fun banner with my Silhouette!!!  I'll be doing this again next time I need something like this!  :)

I used lots of old leftover papers for this banner and I love how it turned out!  The neat thing is that by using old eyelets and raffia, it can be folded small enough to fit into a quart sized baggie and used again!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my creations.  If so, leave me a comment and tell me what you think!  Happy Scrapping!
