Hi everyone! I am so sorry I haven't posted the winner yet... I'm having a difficult time adjusting to the realization that both of my parents are gone... Grief is a VERY strange thing and it can hit you in the weirdest ways at weird times! So I'm a bit overwhelmed by things often these days... Anyway, I'm honored that people come here and comment and leave me love! I wish there were more but I'll take what I can get! LOL! This month there were only 3 people who commented. So I've been using scrapbooking and cardmaking as my therapy when I'm able to actually do things... It truly helps me quiet my mind and just start breathing and forgetting what's happening in my mind... I don't know what I'd do without it! :) My favorite subject to scrap is my family and I've been playing with some different styles, techniques, etc. the last few months... It feels good to play differently, but I find that when I look at my work there's definitely a difference. I'm not quite sure what it is though... But as long as it helps me and the projects come out looking good then that's all that matters! LOL! And I absolutely LOVE challenges and sketches! So when I can combine them together I get really happy! :)

Her challenge was to "take a lesson from the sun: 1) Use YELLOW on your page, 2) Use GOLD on your page (as in gold foil or glitter, etc.), 3) use RAYS on your page". Here's my page -

This is a page for the "Let's Pretend" challenge by Lisa Moen... Her challenge was to use a picture taken outside. So I multi-tasked and used a sketch by Bev Code from the Turtle Soup Forum's Sketchathon Day 2...

And finally I did a page for the Memorable Seasons DT challenge to scraplift a page we chose from the gallery of the Member of the Month (Berta). Here's the page I created using Berta's "Lovin' Life" page...

All of these pages have pictures of my adorable Grandson Robert. His Mom is such an awesome photographer that it makes scrapping pictures of him really easy!
