I used Kreaxions Punch #311 with some shiny fibers threaded through to create the border at the bottom of the hat... What FUN this was to create! Here's the Kreaxions Punch I used...
To create this hat right click on each of the pictures below and save them to your computer. Then print out the two templates - one per 8 1/2 x 11 page. Cut out the templates and lay pieces on 12x12 cardstock so that straight long lines are together. Then draw around the template and cut outline. Also cut where indicated for slit and tabs. Take the end pieces of the tab on the right side of the hat and fold them towards each other. Then fold on the dotted line and insert into slit cut in left side of hat. Apply adhesive where necessary to hold your hat together. (Different weights of paper will require different amounts of adhesive.) This will create the hat which you can then decorate any way you want!
