The challenge to the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team this month was to make a project using green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. I chose to create a card with green using a sketch by Lucy Chesna from My Sketch World. To see the other Design Team projects, go to the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Blog where there's a new creation posted every day!
Materials – Sketch – Lucy Chesna;
Cardstock, Eyelet – Recollections; Patterned Paper – Echo Park, Basic Grey;
Stamps, Ink, Ribbon – CTMH; Background Stamp – Stampin Up; Envelope – 7
Gypsies; Bling - Queen & Company;
Tag Cut with Cricut using George font
The Kreaxions Punch #311 creates a FABULOUS border that's easy for threading things through like fiber, ribbons, twine, string, even thin strips of paper! So that's how I created the border at the bottom.
Then I took Kreaxions Punch 603 and punched 6 flowers. I colored 3 by pressing them into the ink pad and the other 3 I just colored the outer edges by rubbing them in the ink. Once they were inked, I simply folded the petals in half gently to give them some dimension. Then I placed one flower on top of another with a Glue Dot and placed a blingy center on them.
I cut the tag on my Cricut using the George font and I stamped the other flower and sentiment. The is a big stamp from Stampin Up.
This card was easy and simple to create and I hope it inspires you to create something too! Go to the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Store and have fun shopping! Happy Punching!
