- I'm a stay-at-home grandmother with five grandchildren, a daughter, three stepsons, a husband, a dog and a cat. I love Jesus, scrapbooking and the beach. Best Parents in the World
On October 14, 2013 my mother died from cancer. She was 84 years old and had been happily married to my Dad for over 65 years! This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them before Daddy fell and broke his hip. He spent almost 4 years in rehab and a nursing home. He died January 30, 2015 from heart disease and dementia complications. I already miss them both VERY much. But I know they're in Heaven together and are happy and healthy again...
In Honor of Zoe
My faithful companion of 14 years died of liver failure on September 18, 2008. She is VERY much missed! I thank God for the privilege of being her companion all those years.
