
The top butterfly border is the negatives. I used the punch and insert to measure between butterflies. (See photo below)

Then I used the positive butterflies on the bottom border in between the punched flowers. For my corners, I used the cut away pieces in the far corners of the layout to give it some definition. All of the papers except the cardstock are from the fabulous “For the Record” collection by Echo Park. For the Mother’s Day theme I used my new niece’s love of babies as my subject.
I combined this post with a My Sketch World National Scrapbooking Day challenge to use altered buttons on your layout. My buttons were clear and I painted them with Silver Alcohol Ink. Quick and easy alterations!
