The other day I submitted a picture of my new office/scrappy space to Scrapbooks Etc. They just emailed me and said I'm in the running for the $100 prize!!!!!!! Yesterday when the voting started I was #29 out of 40!!! Today thanks to a LOT of friends voting I'm #TWO!!!!!!!!! You can vote every day at the link below. You just have to answer a security question first... Thanks for your help everyone!!! I'll keep you posted... (Oh and you'll have to copy and paste the link because for some reason I can't get links to work in my blog posts. It's all one line too. Sheez!!!)

- I'm a stay-at-home grandmother with five grandchildren, a daughter, three stepsons, a husband, a dog and a cat. I love Jesus, scrapbooking and the beach. In June of 2016 my husband and I retired and moved from South Florida back to Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska! We're building a small homestead on 3 acres of beachfront property. It's quite a life change, but we are loving the new quiet lifestyle!
Best Parents in the World
On October 14, 2013 my mother died from cancer. She was 84 years old and had been happily married to my Dad for over 65 years! This is one of my favorite pictures of the two of them before Daddy fell and broke his hip. He spent almost 4 years in rehab and a nursing home. He died January 30, 2015 from heart disease and dementia complications. I already miss them both VERY much. But I know they're in Heaven together and are happy and healthy again...
In Honor of Zoe
My faithful companion of 14 years died of liver failure on September 18, 2008. She is VERY much missed! I thank God for the privilege of being her companion all those years.
